Yusuke Takanashi won 45th Meijin!

The Pre-Meijin Team Tournament was held.
26 teams entered the 1st Meijin Team Tournament.
Each team consisted of 3 players. Each team player played in one of the three groups, Group A, Group B and Group C, respectively.
1st place was Team Hogosha Sugiyama-san (Guardian Sugiyama), formed by Seiya Kurita, Nobuaki Mitsuya, and Naoki Shimizu.

The 45th Meijin was held in Saitama Prefectural Citizens’ Activities General Center, Tokyo.
180 players entered this year’s Meijin-sen.
1st Place: Yusuke Takanashi
2nd Place: Satoshi Kurahashi
3rd Place: Tetsu Satani
3rd Place: Koichiro Sano
