The extend of the pandemia in time, has once again forced us to hold the Pan American Championship in online format.
We have had a very important call, gathering 90 players from 11 countries in America. Bolivia and Cuba participate for the first time.
48 players from Brazil, 18 from Argentina, 8 from the United States, 6 from Colombia, 3 from Mexico, 2 from Chile, and one from Canada, Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia and Cuba participate.
Jared Platt (runner-up last year), representative of the United States, is the No. 1 player of the tournament according to the WOF ranking. Maximiliano Pellizzari (ARG), champion in 2018, Daniel Olivares (ARG), champion in 2010 and 2017 and Lucas Cherem (BRA), champion in 2019, are also in the tournament.
All games are played on www.vint.ee and will be available on www.liveothello.com, one game per round go live on Liveothello. The semifinals and the final will also have a live broadcast at a special event.
The game system is the same as last year, one round per week, scheduling the day and time of the game with the opponent, 7 rounds per Swiss system.

La prolongación de la pandemia nuevamente nos ha forzado a realizar el Campeonato Panamericano en formato on line. Hemos tenido una muy importante convocatoria, reuniéndose 90 jugadores de 11 países de América. Por primera vez participan Bolivia y Cuba.
Participan 48 jugadores de Brasil, 18 de Argentina, 8 de Estados Unidos, 6 de Colombia, 3 de México, 2 de Chile, y uno de Canadá, Uruguay, Perú, Bolivia y Cuba.
Jared Platt (subcampeón el año pasado), representante de Estados Unidos, es el jugador número 1 del torneo según el ranking WOF. Maximiliano Pellizzari (ARG), campeón en 2018, Daniel Olivares (ARG), campeón en 2010 y 2017 y Lucas Cherem (BRA), campeón en 2019, también son de la partida.
Todas las partidas se juegan en www.vint.ee y estarán disponibles en www.liveothello.com, una partida por ronda con transmisión en vivo. Las semifinales y la final, también contarán con transmisión en vivo en un evento especial.
El sistema de juego es el mismo del año pasado, una ronda por semana, acordando día y horario de juego con el rival, 7 rondas por sistema suizo.
