●〇世界最大のオセロ強豪国「日本」〇●

全国を13ブロックに分け、6000人以上のオセロプレイヤーが活躍しています。

日本オセロ連盟は1973年1月にに設立され、2011年5月に法人化しています。

3月に「名人戦」

7月に「王座戦」

11月に「全日本選手権」が開催されている。

3月の「名人戦」は誰でも参加することができ、海外選手も数多く挑戦しているのが特徴です。

また、8月には「小学生グランプリ」が開催され、5月から７月までに行われる各地区予選を

勝ち抜いた選手によって決勝大会が東京で行われている。

地区予選には約3000名の選手がエントリーし、決勝大会では勝ちあがった128名の選手たちに

よって開催されている。

● 〇 "Japan", the largest and strongest Othello country in the world 〇 ●

More than 6,000 Othello players are active, in each Blocks separated  into 13 blocks in whole Japan.

Japan Othello Association was established in January 1973 and incorporated in May 2011.

"Meijin-sen (Japan Othello Open)" in March,

"Oza-sen (Tour Championship)" in July

"All Japan Championship" is held in November.

In particlar "Meijin-sen" in March is the Open tournament, which anyone can participate, and many overseas players are also able to entry to challenge this tournament.

In addition, "Primary School Grand Prix (Youth Championship)" is held in Tokyo every August with youth finalist, who qualified from each block tournaments held from May to July.

Around 3,000 youth players enter to this tourney throughout country, and the final is held among 128 youth players qualified form each Block tournament.
