Poland hosted the first stage of the 2024 European Grand Prix season in Wrocław, the first time an EGP tournament was held in that city. Stockholm hosted the fourth and closing stage of the season which was a special occasion as the Swedish Othello Federation celebrated its 40th year.
Takuji Kashiwabara won the 2024 EGP (his 13th EGP series win!) with a second place at the inaugural Wrocław tournament, a win in Athens and a fourth place in the closing stage in Stockholm.
