Welcome to the first EGP held in Switzerland!
The fourth and final stage of the European Grand Prix 2025 will take place in Switzerland's capital city Bern.

Tournament venue : Schachklub Bern (Bern chessclub)

"Schachklub Bern", Altenbergstrasse 65, 3013 Bern

Hiking plans
Matthias Berg is planning hikes on Friday August 29th and Monday September 1st. There will be a few easy/medium hiking options based on weather. If you'd like to join let Matthias know!

Swimming in the Aare
If you can swim, bring your swimwear! Bern’s public pools are free, but the real highlight is swimming in the Aare River, one of the city’s main summer attractions.

Parking & Transportation
Parking is expensive and limited. The few spaces directly in front of the venue are not available for us. Park garages are available in the old town, which is just a short walk away via the pedestrian bridge Altenbergsteg.

Accomodation
If you’re looking for private accommodation or need help finding a place to stay, feel free to reach out!
