Brian Rose (2001 World Othello Champion) made this free book available to everyone in 2005 and it has become THE reference for Othello strategy books written in English. It contains 162 pages divided into 16 chapters. Each chapter covers a specific concept and includes lots of exercises (with solutions at the end).

Randy Fang (2009 US Othello champion) decided to start writing his own book on Othello strategy in 2003 because he was tired of waiting on Brian's book which took 5 years to complete (and was released two years after Randy's book). Randy's book contains a lot of good information for beginners but was never completed with the "master level" sections. |

Ted Landau (1984 US Othello champion) wrote this wonderful introduction book to Othello strategy of 56 pages (the first edition was released in 1987) that became the official handbook of the US Othello Association.Despite its name this handbook covers all the major Othello concepts and was the main English language reference for the game until the release of Brian Rose's book. |
